Due to the ceremonies being held on Place des Palais, the BELvue museum will be closed on 21 July.

The museum will once again be open at its regular times as from 22 July.

Museum seeks members of the public for a participative exhibition about Belgium

Are you interested in Belgium's history, diversity and culture? Would you like to meet new people and achieve something together? Then come and help create an exhibition at the BELvue Museum!

Due to the NATO summit, a number of security measures have been put in place in the area around the museum. From Tuesday 10 to Friday 13 July, the entrance to the BELvue museum, the Coudenberg Palace and restaurant Les Filles will exceptionally move to Place Royale 9.

Place Royale and the building may be temporarily closed during the day by police order. In such a case, the exit will be via the Coudenberg archaeological site (Rue Villa Hermosa).

The BELvue museum will be open on Monday 1st of May from 9:30 till 17:00. This is the chance to discover Belgium and its history on the national holiday! Come with your family, play-journeys are available for children from 3 years old and older. 

The restaurant Green Kitchen welcomes you until 28^th of December.

As from 17 January, discover Jars, the new restaurant of the BELvue: recipes by Yves Mattagne and his son Sébastien, served in jars!

From 3 until 8 January, Jars will be open for the visitors during the Christmas holidays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. with a reduced offer of cold and hot drinks, sandwiches, snacks and desserts. A nice appetizer before the great opening!

The museum’s permanent exhibition will be totally renewed and will reopen its doors to the public on the 21st of July 2016. Until we close, we propose you to come and rediscover the history of Belgium in all its forms for only 1 euro (available from 09/09 to 08/11). Don’t miss this extraordinary occasion.
