You are a citizen: how to create an exhibition with about thirty people you meet for the first time? This is the challenge that the BELvue museum, Arts&Publics, Cera and above all the group of citizens who make up "Public à l’œuvre Brussels" have set themselves!
Six months ago, BELvue launched an open call for citizens as part of "Public à l’œuvre", a project aiming to reverse the traditional roles of 'museum' and 'public'. A group of about thirty people has been selected, made up of very diverse profiles in terms of age, gender, social or cultural origins, ... as diverse as Belgium itself.
After many workshops and visits to the museum, a lot of ideas were born, and finally they decided upon the theme of the exhibition. It will soon be announced on this page, so stay tuned!
