On the next 8th of November the BELvue museum will close the doors of its permanent collection on the history of Belgium because it will be totally renewed. A new exhibition will open on the 21st of July 2016. On this occasion, the BELvue proposes to the public a lot of activities for young and old people alike during a weekend.
The Bande du BELvue Bende dropped moving boxes off in the centre of Brussels. Everyone who will find a box and bring it back to the BELvue during the closing weekend, the 7th and 8th of Novembre, will get a free drink. In order to find the boxes, consult the map of the places where these are hidden.
On Saturday and Sunday the BELvue will be in a festive mood !
The program includes a warm welcome with music and great fanfare by the Bande du BELvue Bende. On Saturday 7 the public will enjoy concerts of acoustic music in a few rooms of the museum, played by young promising artists from Belgium.
The museum shop will propose a large choice of Belgian articles and books at a low price. In addition, the visitors will have the opportunity to buy some fabulous reproductions of documents from the scenography of the collection.
Each visitor will receive during this exceptional weekend a small surprising gift which gives him/her the chance to come back to visit the new BELvue with a free ticket after the reopening on the 21st of July.
